It was in 2001 when Apple introduced the iPod brand. iPod is a portable media player. It can play both music and video. Currently, iPod has the following product line: iPod Classic, iPod Nano, iPod Touch and iPod Shuffle. Almost every year Apple comes out with a more upgraded design and feature for each of the iPod brand.
iPad, on the other hand, is a tablet media player designed for audio-visual media including games, music, movies, web content and even books. iPad is run by a multi-touch display with virtual keyboard. It also uses Wi-Fi connection in order to connect to the Internet. Apple’s iPad was released in April 2010.
