They are salespersons first and foremost, and they get paid on commission. Some may even offer you an insurance policy that might not give you your required health benefits just so they meet their quota. Additionally, it wouldn’t hurt to check whether the agent is licensed with the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority or not.
