There are other ways to sponsor a child. In place of money, there are those who instead give of their time and personal attention to provide children and teenagers with a positive role model. These sponsors or volunteers provide guidance and encouragement, as well as help with simple day-to-day tasks such as assistance with homework, or simply listen to the kids to help them through the difficulties they go through every day.
