Sponsoring a child is probably one of the most rewarding and meaningful endeavors in the world. As a sponsor, you are not only providing a child with access to clean water, healthy food, shelter, health care and education; you are giving a child hope – hope that a brighter future awaits him or her. The financial benefit of your act of kindness is only one part of the whole story. When you help a child, it tells him that someone he doesn’t even know cares about him. It teaches him about compassion, charity, love and generosity. It teaches him that God is real and is extending a hand of help towards him and his family.
