Lincolnshire History - Church
Lincolnshire has a rich religious heritage as attested by its beautiful
churches. In fact, Lincolnshire has some of the most beautiful churches
in England, including the Lincoln Cathedral. The St. Mary’s Church, also
known as Stow Minister, is one of the oldest and most important parish
churches in the country. There’s also the St. Helen’s Church in Brant
Broughton with its 198ft steeple, which is a masterwork of medieval
masonry. There are several more church buildings located at the town of
Stamford that are worth visiting.
