Modern Lincolnshire Aviation
Lincolnshire has a long and rich history in aviation, as well as a
lengthy association with the Royal Air Force as a result, which
continues to this day. It has the honor of selecting all officers and
crew and of performing the initial training of all officers at the Royal
Air Force College, Cranwell. RAF Cranwell also houses the Headquarters
of the University Air Squadrons and of the Air Cadets.
